Range, idiom and performance directions for strings and wind.

Range and idiom

Violin: lowest G
Viola: lowest C
Cello: lowest C

Keep every note in the instrument's comfortable range: the violin from the G below middle C upwards, the viola an octave lower, the cello two octaves lower in the bass clef; the flute from middle C, the oboe from just below it, the bassoon low in the bass clef.

More on this

Add a tempo, dynamics, and phrasing or articulation: slurs and bowing for strings, slurs and tonguing marks for wind.
