Exam countdown

Add each exam with its date and time and see the days and hours left to every one, soonest first. For GCSE, A-level and university exam seasons; your list stays on this device.

Add an exam

How it works

Add each exam with its subject, date and, if you know it, the start time. The exam countdown puts them in order, shows the next one large with the days, hours, minutes and seconds left, and lists the rest with the number of days to go. Finished exams move to their own list so you can clear them away.

  1. Type the subject or paper, pick the date and add a start time if you have one.
  2. Press Add exam. It slots into the list in date order.
  3. Remove an exam with the cross next to it.
  4. After an exam, clear it from the Finished list.

Tips

  • Add every paper separately, not just the subject. Two maths papers a week apart need planning as two exams.
  • Count back from the first exam to plan your revision. The revision planner can spread your topics over those days.
  • Put the start time in for exams that are close. The countdown then shows hours and minutes too.
  • Seeing several exams in one week is a signal to start the subjects for that week first.

FAQ

Do I need an account?
No. The countdown works straight away and your exams are saved in this browser on this device.
What happens on the day of an exam?
The next exam shows Today. If you added a start time, the hours and minutes until it starts keep counting down.
When does an exam count as finished?
An exam with a start time moves to Finished three hours after it starts. One without a time moves the day after.
