How it works
This presentation builder takes you from a topic to a planned, rehearsed talk. Choose a type, audience and length, and it lays out a slide skeleton with talking points, a suggested visual and speaker notes for every slide.
- In Setup, enter your topic and pick a type, such as Explain, Research, Argument, Experiment or Revision. Choose the audience, length and number of slides, and add anything the assignment says you must cover as a requirement.
- Press Create presentation. In Build, edit each slide's title and points (one per line) and its rough time in seconds. Details holds the purpose, suggested visual and speaker notes. Arrow keys switch slides, N adds one, D duplicates.
- Open Check to catch slides with too much text, missing sources, tight timing, near-duplicate titles or empty speaker notes, then jump straight to each one.
- Use Practice to rehearse with a timer for each slide. Space moves on and Show notes helps if you get stuck. At the end, rate each slide and replay only the flagged ones.
- In Export, download a .pptx for PowerPoint, an HTML slide deck or a Markdown file, or copy an outline for Google Slides.
Tips
- Plan on 45 seconds to a minute per slide. The check warns you below 45 seconds a slide, and that is a sound rule for real talks too.
- Keep slides short and put the detail in speaker notes. People read faster than you talk, so a full slide makes them stop listening.
- Rehearse out loud at least twice. The first run shows which slides run long; the second shows whether your fixes worked.
FAQ
- Can I open it in PowerPoint or Google Slides?
- Yes. Download the .pptx and open it in PowerPoint or import it into Google Slides, then add your own images and design.
- Does it write the presentation for me?
- No. It builds a structure with prompts for each slide based on the type you pick. You replace the prompts with your own research and words, which is what your teacher is marking.
- Are my presentations saved?
- Yes. Every presentation saves automatically in this browser's local storage on this device, and you can reopen it from My presentations in Setup. Nothing is uploaded unless you sign in to an optional free Brainlag account, which syncs your data across devices. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
